Create Music Group is an LA-based digital music company that provides artists and labels with distribution, rights management, and creative services. We monetize over 9 billion monthly music streams and have collected over $100 Million in previously unclaimed revenue for artists and labels.

Label Engine, our distribution and technology arm, powers over 4,000 record labels and artists worldwide via digital distribution, accounting, and promotion services. Clients include artists such as Bali Baby, Fredo Bang, Lucki, and Surfaces - and labels such as Glo Gang, Disciple Records, Kannibalen, Insomniac Records, Global Soundsystem Records, and Audiophile Records.

  • Passionate about music, songwriting, and licensing.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Able to organize large amounts of data.
  • Proficient/familiar with Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps.
  • Driven towards a career in the music and/or entertainment industry.
  • Studied at least 1 college course in Publishing/Music Industry or possesses Equivalent work experience.
  • Curious about and open minded towards all genres of music.
  • Well-versed on all social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook) and must be willing to learn how to use new digital platforms.
  • A student or recent college grad.


  • Interest in record label operations
  • Previous experience in Publishing/Sync


  • Organizing and updating our database
  • Researching and uploading lyrics and writer/publisher credits into Disco
  • Uploading and creatively tagging new audio (i.e. mood, energy, tempo of tracks) 
  • Assisting the team with song selection and pitching for various projects in Film/TV, Advertising, Sports Programming, and Video Games
  • Researching upcoming film/tv projects

You must be willing to treat every experience as an opportunity to grow. In turn, you will gain exposure to collaborating with various distributors, labels, publishers, and supervisors. You will begin to establish your own network of industry connections.
